Ring in the New Year with good company, delicious food, and a night full of your favorite tunes at The Duke William! Join us for a warm and cosy evening as we countdown to 2025.

Our dedicated New Year’s Eve menu features tempting specials and a selection of sharers perfect for the table, ensuring everyone can indulge in something special.

Introducing The NYE Dukebox – this year, YOU are in charge of the soundtrack! Take control of the playlist and get the party going with your favourite tracks all night long.

Note, for all bookings a member of our team will contact you to take a £25 per person deposit payment. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will be non-refundable.
NYE lunch will be served midday to 3:45pm (last sitting), dinner will be served from 5pm to 9:30pm (last sitting)—book a table online!

Midweek Retreat

Book an overnight stay for up to two people and make the most of our midweek retreat. Available at just £189 which includes an overnight stay for up to 2 people, 3 course dinner menu (supplements may apply on certain dishes) plus breakfast the following morning.

We want to show our appreciation for the nation’s emergency services and wider Blue Light community, which is why we are delighted to offer you a discount when dining with us.
Valid when dining Mon–Thurs lunch or dinner, subject to opening times. Saving is only valid when the cardholder is dining from the A La Carte menu. Applies to a maximum table size of 8 people. Excludes 24th Dec to 1st Jan, Valentine’s Day & Bank Holidays. Not valid during the months of June, July & August, or on Festive Menu bookings. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

A quintessentially English pub in the idyllic village of Ickham, near Canterbury. The Duke is opposite a truly stunning Church and is the perfect venue for your Wedding Reception.

The Terrace & garden

Our beautiful south facing terrace and garden can be hired for any of our Summer Garden Party Menus, complete with its own outside bar and booth seating.

The olive tree

Our stunning central table in the middle of the terrace, centred around an Olive Tree This table can be reserved for outside dining and drinking for up to 20 people, weather dependent.

The Conservatory

Bright and airy with lovely views out over the pub garden and the farming fields beyond, this is a great space for afternoon tea or one of our feast menus for up to 20 people.

Private use of The Conservatory and Terrace will be priced on a minimum spend basis dependent on the day of the week and time of year.

The Den

A cosy room set away from the hustle and bustle of the main bar and the perfect spot for a large table booking of up to 30 people.
